Brazilian metalheads Eminence have started producing their 4th studio album in their home city of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. The band is currently recording at Jota Quest’s studio Minério de Ferro with the Danish producer and sound engineer Tue Madsen, who arrived in Belo Horizonte last week to begin the production. Madsen is well known for his work with bands like Ektomorf, Dark Tranquility, Aborted, Sick of it All, Suicide Silence and Moonspell, not to mention Eminence’s last album, The God of All Mistakes.
After six hours of precise and careful mic and audio setup selection, Masden finally started recording the drums. Work follows on until the first week of March, when Masden is scheduled to return to Seattle and help mixing the album with Terry Date (Pantera, Korn, Deftones, Soulfly, Helmet, prong, Overkill etc.)
The album will feature guest appearances from the bass players Paulo Jr. (Sepultura) and PJ (Jota Quest).
