The legends are back! This Saturday, the 16th, the Brazilian maniacs from Chakal will stream their new album “Destroy! Destroy! Destroy!” in its entirety. Released after “Demon King” (which marked the return of the wolves to the stages back in 2009) and a long 9 year hiatus, the new album has been on the making since 2011, precisely when bassist Cássio Corsino joined after a tough audition for the replacement of Giuliano Toniolo, previously in charge of the 4 strings.
Unlike the previous albums, and for the first time ever in their career, “Destroy! Destroy! Destroy!” won’t be released by Cogumelo Records as the band decided to go independent in a bid to gain full control over the recording and production.
Although taking a long time after their last release, the fans were kept in the loop during the recording process. A video clip from the track “Possessed Landscape” was produced in 2011 and released exclusively through Mondo Metal. In addition to that, Mondo Metal’s radio program at Elo FM aired “Anubis, The Lord of Necropolis” for the first time. The band also shared the recording process through some teasers.
